Gas Blender
The Gas Blender® mixes varying gases and temperatures to within a narrow, predictable variation.

The Need for MIXING

SCR Systems - Ammonia Injection Grid (AIG) efficiency can be significantly improved by providing sufficient mixing of ammonia into exhaust stream prior to contact with SCR catalyst.  Without proper mixing, NOx escapes unconverted into the atmosphere and ammonia slip occurs.

FGD Systems (Flue Gas Desulferization) - The Gas Blender unit enhances FGD Systems by providing a more uniform flow profile and a more homogenous SO2 gas concentration.  The mixer also promotes a more uniform sorbent dispersion due to the high degree of turbulent mixing in the injection duct. These actions cause a more efficient conversion of the polluted gas to a more benign compound.

CEM Systems - Effective measurement of exhaust gases in stacks can be significantly enhanced by ensuring uniform concentration and velocity of pollutants across the sampling area. Without mixing the concerntration and velocity variations, the CEM system will misrepresent the composition of the exhaust stream.

Exhaust Sampling - Chemical, biological, and/or nuclear detection in a gas stream requires that an accurate sampling of the gas stream is taken.  By mixing the gas stream prior to the measuring station, the accuracy of the detection system is significantly improved.

The Need for SPARK SUPPRESSION

Dust Collection Systems, Boilers, and Bag House Filters - Eliminating sparks from a process is fundamental to preventing fires and protecting life and property.
