Problem
In order for coils and filters to operate efficiently, relatively low velocities are required. However, in most air handling units, these components experience a significant velocity variation. This could be a result of the inlet conditions on draw -through systems, or the fan discharge on blow -through systems. Whatever the cause, the result is system components operating ineffieciently.
