The Mixing Module mixes return and outside air streams so the designed amount of fresh air gets distributed to each occupied space.

Problem
Indoor air quality concerns continue to increase. As a result, greater amounts of outside air are required to be introduced into a ventilation system to ensure all occupied spaces are receiving adequate amounts of fresh air. If air stratification exists in an air handling unit, the outdoor air is not mixed with the return air. As a result, there is no way to know how much outdoor air is being supplied to each space.
Mixing: The Solution
The only way to be certain that fresh air is being delivered to each space is to ensure the return and outside air is properly mixed within the air handling unit.
